Fallen Angel

My final for semester one of IB Art!
This painting took f o r e v e r because I spent 95% of my time staring it down and wondering WHAT SHOULD I DO cause I'm a perfectionist and wanted it EXACTLY how it was in my head xD
My yearlong theme is World War One. I based this off a photo I took at the WW1 Museum at Liberty Memorial, and created the angel wings (ohhh they were such a pain and I couldn't get the anatomy right but I think they look pretty cool now).

With Christmas tomorrow, I've been thinking a lot of the troops past and present... this painting is dedicated to them, bless them

~krazyky20 has been dragging me into Supernatural and we have a headcanon that this is Castiel But I try to ignore that cause it gives me FEELS

No critique please, so much is wrong with this, and I had to paint a majority of it in 1 and a half days

Acrylic on illustration board, quite large in size. Photo is rubbish, the green is NOT bright mint green and the board was warped so I had to crop it badly ackkkk

I want to thank all my friends and Mr. K and especially my fellow art students for putting up with my neurotic artist shit because this project drove me up the wall in terms of stress XD
